I use naturally forages and sustainably-sourced pigments. My intention is that my artmaking is as close as possible to zero waste.
Some inks I make myself. Others I purchase from a M'chigeeng First Nation Indigenous artist, Anong Beam. She makes her paints with Manitoulin honey, wildcrafted tree sap, hand-gathered, washed, and sifted stone, and the finest lightfast pigments.
